Preserving Your Garden Harvest

Saturday, July 13th at 10am

As the spring and summer gardening season is waning and fall planting begins, join us as we explore the different ways to preserve your garden harvest. Participants will learn about the most popular methods of preserving vegetables and fruits, from canning, freezing, and drying. Additionally, participants will engage in a hands-on activity to explore water bath canning and the tools needed to successfully prepare your own fruit preserves safely.

This is a 2.5-hour workshop. Participants will receive their own beginner canning kit, recipes, and information to take home. $75.00 for not-yet-members and $67.50 for members. Members contact the Programs Manager at ProgramsManager@elizabethangardens.org to register. Limited spots available.
