Citizen Science: Monarch Butterfly Tag and Release

The Monarch Watch tagging program is a “large-scale community science project” that engages citizens around the globe in tracking and conservation of Monarch butterflies. During this hands-on, 1-hour workshop participants will learn about monarch butterflies, learn about tagging and tracking butterflies, tag their own butterfly and submit the data to Monarch Watch, and release their butterfly in the Gardens.
