Bird Watching and Bird House Making

Saturday, May 11th at 1pm

Celebrate Migratory Bird Day at the Elizabethan Gardens! The theme for 2024 is “Protect Insects, Protect Birds.” Join us on a bird walk through the Gardens to learn about the many birds that frequent our beautiful garden and the insects that support them. After the walk, you can make a bird house to take home or give to a loved one for Mother’s Day.

The Gardens is part of the North Carolina Birding Trail. You can find our site listed on the website at https://www.ncbirdingtrail.org/sites/.

Program is approximately 45-minutes to one hour long and all supplies are provided by the Gardens. There is limited capacity in the program.

Program cost does not include admission. $5.00 for not-yet-members and $4.50 for members.

Members contact the Programs Manager at ProgramsManager@elizabethangardens.org to register.
