How Does Our Garden Grow? Through Volunteers of Course!

get involved Elizabethan GardensJoin us every other Friday and volunteer in The Elizabethan Gardens.

There’s always things to do, inside or outside.

Work with our horticulture staff and brush up your gardening skills or contribute your own expertise to us. Volunteering in plant sales is a great way to help others learn about gardening and have fun at the same time. There is much to be done behind the scenes including helping with mailings for special events, answering the phones and keeping track of all the details that keep The Gardens running. Volunteer in the Gatehouse and Giftshop greet guests, check-in stock and answer lots of questions. Many families volunteer together to help with tasks.

Begin your new adventure as a Gardens volunteer today and watch yourself and the world around you grow. Contact us today, call 252.473.3234.

Volunteering offers an infinite number of opportunities for growth and personal enrichment. Throughout its history, volunteers and their contributions have been vital to the success and growth of The Elizabethan Gardens. Last year volunteers gave more than 1,000 hours of their time and talents.
